Peeking straight into the golden age of Australian counter-culture fashion.

This is the holy grail "Keyhole Pin-Up" Loud Shirt by Mambo Graphics, created in the mid-to-late 1990s (circa 1995–1998). The mastermind behind this subversive print is none other than the legendary Reg Mombassa (Chris O'Doherty).

Born out of Mambo’s iconic "Loud Shirt" series—launched in 1994 to parody traditional Hawaiian Aloha shirts—this design takes 1950s burlesque and peepshow voyeurism and flips it into a wearable work of art.

The front features dual keyholes revealing retro pin-up girls in lingerie, while the back reveals a massive centerpiece keyhole of a pin-up beauty glancing over her shoulder. Bordered with vintage Mambo skeleton keys along the collar, hem, and cuffs, and finished with authentic natural coconut shell buttons on ultra-soft, drapey rayon fabric.

True wearable Australian art that belongs in a museum gallery.
